GREENVOLUTION
GREENVOLUTION
Saving the planet one bottle at the time
If you think that S.T. Coleridge, Iron Maiden and Andrew Eversden of Bottle up don’t have anything in common, think it over. Besides being all British, Coleridge was one of the first author to be considered proto ecologist, warning us of the dangers of going against nature. In his famous “Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner” (translated into a song by Iron Maiden), the quote “water water everywhere, nor any drop to drink” can be seen as a powerful reminder of the disastrous effects of climate change. Luckily, several genial entrepreneurs, like Andrew Eversden (co-founder of Bottle up and my guest for this episode of Greenvolution) have been working to find solutions against wasting water and preventing one the most dangerous threats to our planet: the proliferation of single-use plastic products. And what about Iron Maiden? Oh, they’ve “just” been providing us with excellent music for decades.
